Lets start with a ‘blank canvas’
Lip filler dissolving is a simple procedure to remove all or part of a client’s lip filler. The process is fast and safe, and it closely resembles the original lip filling treatment.
Safeguard your health
There are scenarios where dermal fillers can be injected into the lips incorrectly. This may lead to swelling, rashes and infection if the fillers aren’t removed.
Restore the way you look
In the case of a botched lip filler job, you may be suffering from a distorted appearance. For example, your lips could look puffy and sore and leave you feeling self-conscious. By dissolving the dermal filler, you’ll be able to correct any issues and feel confident again.
Extremely Safe
It’s a natural feeling to be concerned about the state of your lip fillers and you can rest assured that dissolving them is safe and straightforward. This is due to hyaluronidase being a natural compound in the body, so nothing harmful is being introduced to the lips.
Prepare for new dermal filler
After the old filler has been dissolved, there’s the opportunity to get new lip fillers. It’s recommended you wait 2 weeks to ensure the best results.
Fast results
There are no long waiting times with lip filler dissolving. Once the solution has been injected into the lips, you’ll notice positive changes to the skin and the full results will appear after two weeks. In addition, the procedure only takes 15 minutes.
Part of your optimal plump lip routine
Lip filler treatments can help you achieve the perfect pout. However, dissolving lip filler every few years is a worthwhile addition to your beauty routine if you get treatments regularly. That way, you can retain the naturally plump look you desire.

Yes, but of course it depends on the type of lip filler, if the filler is made from a reversible product such as hyaluronic acid, then you can use the enzyme hyaluronidase to dissolve it. Some fillers can't be dissolved, although these are less common. If your fillers are made with silicone, Scultpra or Radiesse – these can’t be dissolved.

It’s possible to dissolve lip fillers within one procedure, which can take around 15 minutes. But, I always warn patients that they might need two sessions to actually get the results that they require.
